“Greece’s long-term prospects for attracting foreign investment remain strong,” according to founder of the InvestGR Forum in interview with Xinhua news agency

In an interview with the Chinese state news agency Xinhua, the founder of InvestGR Forum, Andreas Yannopoulos, referred to the strong interest of foreign investors in Greece, despite the health crisis.

“Investors look at the long-term prospects of an economy, and the long-term prospects of the Greek economy have not changed,” said the founder of InvestGR Forum, stressing that,  “now is the time for foreign investment in Greece, a safe country with political stability and a pro-investment political environment.”

“Energy, health, infrastructure and tourism are the areas that attract investment interest,” said Andreas Yannopoulos, adding that his take-away from his contacts with foreign investors is that investments have not been delayed or canceled.

The issue of foreign investment in Greece will be discussed at the 3rd InvestGR Forum 2020: Greece in the Pole Position, which will take place online this year in two sessions, on 15-16 July and 8-9 October 2020 (www.investgr .eu).
