Introductory Remarks
This past October, the 6th InvestGR Forum 2023: Greece, Staying the Course, a two-day event, came to a close. Packed with interesting presentations, ideas and proposals put forth by prominent representatives from the worlds of business, politics, academia and the media, the Forum, was, as always, focused on foreign investments in Greece.
From the start, the goal of the InvestGR Forum has been to foster dialogue and discussion among all stakeholders of how Greece can improve its attractiveness as an investment destination.
True to our objective, we continue with undiminished energy and enthusiasm, proceeding with the preparation and implementation of the 7th InvestGR Forum 2024, which will take place on 17 July 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Athens, under the banner: “Charting the Future.”
With the Greek economy back on track, a record number of FDI projects in 2022, according to the “EY Attractiveness Survey, Greece 2023”, and a return of Greek bonds to investment grade, it is time to create a map for the future. By July of 2024, the current government will be entering the second year of its mandate, and the European elections will have been completed at the beginning of June, against a background of tensions and uncertainties in the international environment. It is a good time to take stock of the significant achievements of the last several years and address the question of how Greece can build sustainable, long-term prosperity and further cement its position as an attractive investment destination.
We look forward to seeing you on 17 July 2024, for the 7th InvestGR Forum 2024: Charting the Future.
