Introductory Remarks

This year marks the eighth year of the InvestGR Forum: Foreign Investments in Greece, and we embrace the new year for the Forum with anticipation. As we look back at the Forum’s history, we can’t help having a sense of satisfaction, and even pride, in seeing how our event has developed into a reliable and substantial platform that deals exclusively with the subject of foreign investments in Greece.

The elements of the event’s staying power were once more amply demonstrated at the 7th InvestGR Forum: Charting the Future.

The 7th InvestGR Forum was the frame for an interesting day filled with meaningful discussions and panels. Ministers, CEOs and executives from foreign companies operating and investing in Greece, experts, and journalists participated, covering critical fields of public policy: the economy and development, health, energy and environment, infrastructure and transport, and demographics. A large and engaged audience of prominent business people followed the discussions with rapt attention, and took full advantage of the opportunities for networking and further discussion on the sidelines of the Forum.

We do not expect a Forum for discussion and the exchange of ideas to be the cure for all ills. Our goal remains to provide food for thought, spark ideas, and foster a productive, public discussion between notable representatives from the spheres of politics, business, academia and the media.

In this spirit and buoyed by our good progress so far, we are getting ready for the 8th InvestGR Forum 2025, which will take place under the banner “Greece, Regional Leader,” on 15 July 2025, at the Athens Conservatoire.
