EY Greece and the InvestGR Forum are continuing their cooperation for a second year, within the framework of this year’s 4th InvestGR Forum 2021: Reforming the Greek Economy, which will take place on 14 July 2021, at the Athens Hilton.
For the second consecutive year, the InvestGR Forum will be the exclusive venue for the first presentation by EY Greece of the findings, relating to Greece, from the research conducted by EY worldwide, entitled: “Attractiveness Survey”.
In the first discussion panel of the 4th InvestGR Forum 2021: Reforming the Greek Economy, the findings of the EY research, “Attractiveness Survey: Greece 2021,” will be presented and analyzed for the first time. The third edition of the EY annual survey will capture the investment community’s views on Greece, the country’s strengths and weaknesses as an investment destination, its performance in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) over the past year, as well as its course as an investment destination compared to previous years.
The Country Managing Partner of EY Greece, Panos Papazoglou, stated: “It is our great pleasure to participate for the second consecutive year as a strategic sponsor, and for the third time since its inception, in the InvestGR Forum. This event is now an established institution for generating serious public debate on foreign direct investment in Greece, and for bringing stakeholders from both government and business together. At EY, realizing the critical importance of FDI in creating long-term value for the Greek economy and society, we have, since 2019, been monitoring and recording, through our Attractiveness Survey, the views of the international investment community on the attractiveness of Greece as an investment destination. In the third year of our research, we will be present at the 4th InvestGR Forum 2021, to report on the “pulse” of the global investment community regarding Greece, to compare the country’s performance in attracting FDI last year, and to analyze its prospects as an investment destination, today, tomorrow and beyond.”
The founder of the InvestGR Forum and CEO of Public Affairs and Networks, Andreas Yannopoulos, commented: “We are extremely pleased to have this cooperation with EY, which, through important and comprehensive research, based on a significant sample of senior executives in international companies, with existing or potential investments in Greece, contributes considerably to the public debate on foreign investment in Greece. I am certain that this year’s findings of the Survey are expected with anticipation, and that it will be thoroughly studied by the institutions and the business community.”
The 4th InvestGR Forum 2021: Reforming the Greek Economy is organized by Public Affairs and Networks and is held with the support and under the auspices of the Representation of the European Commission in Greece, the Ministry of Development and Investment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises.
