“Greece Is Back” for the 3rd InvestGR Forum 2020, June 4, 2020

Athens 23 September 2019 |  The 3rd InvestGR Forum 2020: Greece is Back (www.investgr.eu) will take place on 4 June 2020 (Athens Hilton), with the support and under the auspices of the Representation of the European Commission in Greece, the Ministry of Development and Investments and the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, while major media are Communication Sponsors.

The InvestGR Forum: Foreign Investments in Greece is organized by Public Affairs and Networks for the third consecutive year, and addresses the extremely timely and crucial issue of foreign investment in Greece and the country’s image as an investment destination.

The title of 3rd InvestGR Forum 2020 is “Greece is Back”.

Andreas Yannopoulos, founder of InvestGR Forum, said: “Greece, after a decade-long and deep financial crisis, seems to be returning to the financial field with more optimism and confidence, without naturally overlooking internal and external risks. And this is precisely the reason why the title  of the 3rd InvestGR Forum 2020 is “Greece is Back.” In the present economic and political context, where foreign investment in Greece occupies a prominent place in government priorities and, in general, in public debate, the InvestGR Forum has evolved into a high-level forum policy discussions between the political, business and academic spheres.

The 3rd InvestGR Forum 2020: Greece is Back Program will aim, through the themes of the panel discussions, to reflect that Greece and its economy are back on a growth track, but also clearly what needs to be done to establish Greece as a reliable investment destination.

At the same time, this year the METRON ANALYSIS Barometer Survey on “Greece, an attractive investment destination?” will be conducted, through personal interviews with CEOs of leading foreign companies in Greece.

With the academic supervision of Professor George Pagoulatos of the Athens University of Economics and Business, a study will be conducted with the positions and proposals of the heads of leading foreign companies in Greece to improve the country’s investment context.

Also this year, successful Greek companies will be invited to participate in the Forum as Greek Ambassadors to showcase their success stories as examples of a competitive and dynamic Greek economy.
