George Bakopoulos is the CEO and Chairman of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Greece SA since June 2017. He is the first Greek CEO of the Group after a consequent period of 15 years and is 45 years old. FCA Greece imports & distributes the Brands Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Abarth & Fiat Professional Brand in Greek automotive market.
The starting point of his professional carrier 20 years ago was in Hyundai Motor Hellas and few years later in Kia Motor Greece, holding several managerial positions of Sales, Network and Business Development departments.
Based in Athens Greece, he graduated from the Economic University of Athens (AUEB) with BA in European Economic Studies and from Leicester University with an MBA in Marketing. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Group is the 8th world’s largest automotive manufacture.
The Group includes the automotive brands Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Fiat Professional, Maserati, Lancia, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, & Ram Trucks and also owns the industrial subsidiaries of Mopar, Comau, Magneti Marelli and Teksid.
